Is it too early to be a bad mom?

Since 18 weeks I have been playing the Baby Plus system to Samara in the womb (http://www.babyplus.com/)--"The BabyPlus Prenatal Education System is a set of sound lessons that are played to the prenatal child. The patented lessons strengthen earliest brain development"--- She responds and kicks back in tune to the beat and generally I feel like it is important for two reasons: 1.) Her Dad picked it out and bought it for her and 2.) It might really work. I play it for an hour every morning at work and an hour at night. But yesterday, in my thanksgiving fervor I forgot! Now she has gone a whole day without it. This comes on the heels of realizing we have not been playing enough music, talking enough or reading to her enough in the womb. I feel like we are bad prenatal communicators. Are you laughing yet? Am I silly for feeling guilty before my baby is even born? I am sure I have plenty of time to mess up after she is here. Why start now?

LOL. You're not bad parents at all. My husband sang "Islands in the Stream" (bizarre song choice, I know) to my belly while I was pregnant. And now, when we play the song on the stereo, it works like crack. Whenever Ella is cranky or crying, we turn it on, and she settles down and falls asleep immediately. It's both incredibly creepy and incredibly cool at the same time.

Hi there--- no, you're being silly! Its okay to forget things. The item sounds really neat, but it will be okay. Leaving it behind doesn't make you a bad mom. Now, leaving your HER behind by accident when you're going away for Thanksgiving...well that's a different story :)
