In other news, my computer went the way of the Dodo bird. Alas. One day it was fine and the next my hard drive was irrevocably damaged. It did give a few death gasps, however and so I was able to retrieve all of the documents. I lost nothing for work (except time), but I lost my entire itunes memory, which has made it difficult to update my iphone (read: impossible) and my ipod. Ah, the trials of being a Mac junkie. I am, however, the proud owner of a new Macbook, which I swear I love almost as much as my children. It is so fancy and purty. I love Steve Jobs somethin' fierce right now (and I am so sorry I cursed you, Mr. Jobs as my poor G4 shuffled off this techno coil). He really is an unsung hero.
Besides that, I am breathing in and loving the fall as much as I can (when I am not buried knee deep in work). Fall in New England is so spectacular, I find it hard to imagine ever moving away. They say once you live in NE, you always end up returning. My guess? They miss the fall.
So, I leave you with some photos of our Columbus Day weekend at the Lake House:
A nice fall nap:

Beautiful photos Sasha! My laptop did the same thing last fall and I too lost everything on my iTunes (except for what I purchased) I was beside myself and couldn't get any support from anyone in what to do. Hope you had better luck
I love those photo's- especially the last one! I'm in NYC- but it is in no way as beautiful as NE!
Love it! And what I wouldn't give to trade places with your little boy in that last photo!
I LOVE this time of year!
