I am at home today with rhythmic, painless (mostly) contractions. My midwife suggested lying down and drinking lots of fluids when they started last night. Could this be it? I am trying not to overreact. Yesterday was extremely stressful and I barely ate. Then I walked a lot this morning. So... it could be that. But we shall see.
Later: I just got back from the hospital and have been diagnosed with an "irritable uterus." Go figure. Anyway, that is the deal. Not labor, but also not a good thing. I have been advised to rest all day tomorrow and see what happens.

Now this is exciting stuff! When is your actual due date? Do they expect you to go then or earlier?
My actual due date is Feb. 2. They have not said when they expect me to go but I am going in today to get checked out.
Sounds like a good idea to me. Was that a planned appointment or did you determine that by how you feel today? Let me know how it goes
