Happy Easter

So, I kinda like Easter. It is (usually) such a celebration of Spring and such a happy holiday that lasts only one day instead of an entire, cloying season. There is no annoying music to have to deal with and a creepy bunny is far preferable to the nastiness of storefront Santa and his state-registered elves.

We had a lovely, albeit freezing, Easter at the lake house (although, we did not see the lake as it is under about 10 feet of snow and ice). We dyed eggs, hunted them and lazed around. It was nice--and freezing. I leave you with these photographs:

Easter started with a package from Sam's grandmother in Ohio. She was pretty happy about it:

Then we dyed eggs:

And made good use of the leftover colors:

On Easter morning, Sam dressed to impress:

Then we hunted eggs and found our basket:

Happy Easter!
