A Sibling for Sammy

Meet the mystery baby. She/he is measuring right on schedule (9 weeks, five days) and is still due Aug. 2. His/her heart rate is a very strong 167 bpm. I am breathing. I am breathing.

As I showered this morning, just before the ultrasound, I realized how badly I want this baby. The timing may not be perfect, our house might be too small, but I really want this sibling for Sam.

Thank you for all the good wishes.

And now we can focus on other things... like the Iowa caucus!! 2008 is a good year in so many ways.
