Sitting on the Fence

I watched "Notes from the Underbelly" last night and related a little TOO much. The question: which pregnant couple are we? Given my friend B also watches the show and she got pregnant after me, I am slightly afraid I might be the perky housewife character. But I really relate to the newly pregnant woman who is considering quitting work, spends thousands on shoes and purses and whose husband wants to get 10 extra jobs to make enough for the baby. Since two of my blogs in the past three months have been about TV, I feel it is entirely possible I am watching too much. At some point in the near future we are canceling the cable... until then, expect at least 5 more show blogs.

In other non-tv-related news I received a call from the daycare closest to my work the other day. It is a great center ($2200 a month) that is right next to my work ($2200 a month) and had a five year waiting list ($2200 a month). We went on the waiting list about 1.5 years ago in anticipation of our baby and somehow, miraculously, our name was pulled for a May 1 start date ($2200 a month). What is the universe telling me with this windfall ($2200 a month)? I am going on a tour this afternoon to keep my options open. I still have not officially told work I am leaving and there is a part of me that really wants to still work. Gotta love being indecisive.

That's a good way to cure your indecisivness - $2200 a month. That's craziness. Course if you made enough money a month salary-wise beyond the $2200 I would say go for it, otherwise, what's the point of working simply to break even? Either way I'll support you and be there for you.

Oh and be sure to let us know what the $2200 a month encompasses. I'm dying to hear about what they have to offer.

Holy crap. That is insane. For that much money, they better teach Samara to speak 14 different languages by the time she's two.
